Man Steals Motorcycle, Crashes into Police Car, Posts Bail With Fake Money

We’re not in anyway appreciating what this man has done.

He’s just acted like a criminal that he is. However, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t admire the absolute badassery of this thug!

It’s like some movie character. It started with the Police receiving a call from a Milbrook man telling them that his Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from his garage. The man provided a description of the suspect’s car.

The description was sent across to nearby police patrols. One of the patrol cars spotted a Ford Ecoline matching the description in the Taconic State Parkway. The police then attempted to make a traffic stop. But, that wasn’t going to stop 24-year old Jaquan R. Rosado.

Rosado crossed the center line, and started driving into the lane of oncoming traffic! Finally the East Fishkill Police caught up to him. He then, posted a cash bail and left. However, it was only later that the police found that the $700 cash bail posted by him was actually zilch! They were all fake $100 bills!

If that wasn’t enough, the police later found out that even the Ford he was driving was stolen! This one from Bridgeport in Connecticut.

He has now been charged with a long list of felonies. These include:

-Reckless Driving
-Leaving the Scene of Property Damage
-Auto Accident
-Unlawfully Fleeing From An Officer in a Motor Vehicle
-Second-degree Reckless Endangerment
-First-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument

  1. A scene from Highlander springs to mind, the one with the hot dog stand: “What does ‘baffled’ mean? What does ‘incompetent’ mean?” 🙂
