NHRA’S BIG CHIEF IS GOING AFTER THE PONTIAC 1/4 MILE RECORD. HIS FIRST FULL PASS THE CHUTES FAILED BUT RAN A 6.420 @ 223MPH

NHRA competitors better watch out.

Big Chief is taking it from the streets to the track to show everybody that he’s the fastest around with the Crowmod.

Gateway Motorsports Park opened up their track for testing yesterday and Big Chief threw down his first 1/4 mile pass and we have the video. This took him from his normal 660ft to the full quarter and well over the 200mph mark. Chief isn’t used to the regulations and rules, but seems to be making a quick adaption to get the Crowmod into the record books.

I am not trying to be the fastest in NHRA but just having a good time at the prestigious 65th running of the us nationals!
On his first pass, he managed to pop off a 6.420 @ 223.65 even with all of his issues. He isn’t happy with that number or the run at all, so we expect much more from him in upcoming races. This means that he’s only 0.15 seconds and 5mph off of Butler’s Pontiac record. This was even on a rough pass. He thinks that once they get the car dialed in, he’s going to smash that record and keep on going. A lot of people talk crap on the Street Outlaws crew, but what are they going to say when Chief and the Crowmod take the title of the world’s fastest Pontiac? He already took this title for the 1/8 mile back at the Outlaw Street Car Reunion III when he ran a 4.03 @ 185mph on drag radials. Now he’s ready for to take the overall title for both the eighth and quarter.
