Shooting reignites rivalry between Bandidos & Vagos motorcycle clubs

Feds identify Bandidos & Vagos as “criminal outlaw gangs”

SANTA FE, N.M. —
Police are looking to question members of the Bandidos motorcycle club following a shooting in Santa Fe on Saturday.

One man was injured.

Police are already questioning a member of the Vagos motorcycle club.

The Bandidos were involved in a shooting at an Applebees in Albuquerque in March 2015. Six months later, two people died in another shooting involving the Bandidos in Los Chavez.

One man died in a shooting involving the Vagos in the North Valley in 2013.

The U.S. Department of Justice identifies both motorcycle clubs as “criminal outlaw gangs.”

In 2013, the Albuquerque Police Department told Action 7 News the two gangs were in a turf war over drugs.
