Avril has shared that she was kicked out of her home at 15. She managed to complete high school on her own terms and has been shaping her destiny ever since.
In 2016, she took a leap of faith, moving to the USA with no visa, job, or place to stay, landing in Miami where she knew no one. Driven by her dream to become a boxing champion, model, and role model, she embraced the adventure.
She took up boxing in late 2012 and stepped into the amateur ring just six months later. After five years and 20 amateur fights, she launched her professional boxing career in December 2017.
These days, she splits her time between Miami, where she trains at the renowned 5th St Gym, and Athens, Greece, where she trains at Perseas Boxing Club.
