She got her high school studies at the International School of Bucharest. She then attended San Jose State University to study Kinesiology.
Andreea started competing in swimming championships while she was still in high school. She made it to the European Junior Championships and took part in several other major swimming competitions.
After she completed her high school studies, she relocated to the United States where she started got enrolled in college. She joined her university’s women’s swimming and diving teams.
